Creating Networks in LatAm e-Commerce
In the end of 2015, I’ve started in Mercado Pago, first entering myself into eCommerce and financial world. The main project and also the greatest result of mine is the plugin of Mercado Pago for WooCommerce, that I’ve engineered, matured, and evangelized, from the very start, and even participating of the WooConf 2016 in Seattle/USA.
The WooCommerce Mercado Pago owned, in the end of 2017, nearly 3 million of USD in transactions per month, over more than 10.000 eCommerce stores in LatAm. A project that I’m very proud to be part, that I consider to be my legacy in Mercado Pago. Image 1: Landing page of WooCommerce Mercado Pago plugin. Also, there was many other initiatives that I’ve worked like the BlackFriday operations in the year of 2016, and the 2017 Computer Science Week (SECCOMP) of the Universidade Estadual de São Paulo where I’ve lectured a mini-course. Master in Business Administration
In the final of 2016, I’ve finished my MBA course in Analytics in Big Data (Fundação Instituto de Administração, 2016), receiving my certificate in Jan/2017. I think that it was a great complement for my formation, made in a very prestigious institute of São Paulo city.
In a very iconic event, the Institute received Doug Cutting (Hadoop’s creator), that gave us the certificate by his own hands. Wonderful! Image 5: MBA in Analytics in Big Data.
Security of Information for Mobile Apps
In May/2018 I’ve started to work in ITAU Unibanco with Information Security for mobile, the company that I’m currently working for.
